A lot of great things happened during opening
day. The biggest lesson learned was the need for
a quality grain mill. I was lucky enough to be
directed towards the
Crankandstein Grain Mill by members of the
Seacoast Home Brewers Club. |

The
Crankandstein CGM-2A mill was delivered on
Friday and was set up and working by Saturday
morning. We all were excited to see the results
of the cracking action of the mill, it truly is
a great piece of work.

Chamber Members Attend Open House
Shapleigh Hops Craft Brewing held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony recently to introduce the art of home brewing. Members of the Sanford Springvale Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development were on hand to help cut the ribbon and got a chance to learn techniques used to make their favorite brew for a fraction of the retail cost.
